• Your messaging platform user ID (WhatsApp number, Instagram username)
• Messages you send to SankofaChat
• AI-generated responses sent back to you
• Language preference (detected automatically)
• Subscription status and payment references (if applicable)

• To manage your subscription and billing
• To improve our service quality
• To detect and prevent abuse

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (hosted in the EU). Conversations are stored to maintain context within your chat session. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate SankofaChat:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business API, Instagram Messaging API) — for message delivery
• Anthropic (Claude AI) and Google (Gemini AI) — for generating responses
• Supabase — for data storage
• Sentry — for error monitoring (no personal data sent)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with the third-party services listed above, solely for the purpose of operating SankofaChat. Message content is sent to AI providers to generate responses but is not used to train their models.

You have the right to:

• Opt out of the service at any time

8. Data Retention

Conversation data is retained for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel or stop using SankofaChat, your data will be deleted within 90 days unless required by law.
